How this tool works
For 15% of 250, multiply 250 × 15 ÷ 100 = 37.5. This differs from percentage change, which compares a new amount with its starting amount.
Important limitations
For reverse calculations, a 100% decrease leaves zero and cannot be reversed to a unique starting value.
